SCBWI CenCal is sponsoring "Another Traveling Sketchbook".  Mine is the first entry.  This book will float around to sketchers up and down the coast of California all summer.

Wow, I didn't realize just how much I've ignored this blog!  I finished up Marla Frazee's class at Art Center.  Here's my Christmas card in progress, following Marla's technique of soaking one ply paper, stapling it to a board to dry overnight, and then painting.  I did a pencil rendering of my house, and followed with some simple watercolor.

Here's another for my Marla Frazee class...love developing this character.  This past week, she took a train to Grandma's house.
