I won two awards at the SCBWI San Diego Mayfest Conference! The first was for best portfolio, and the second was for best critique. I had a really informative portfolio critique with Mallory Grigg, Senior Art Director at MacMillan.
SCBWI San Diego put on a great conference! Matthew Cordell really went deep into his process. And it was followed by an agents and editor's panel. I'm so happy I signed up! I have to thank my Mulberries Art Collective for telling me about it. We do an online Drink and Draw every Tuesday night, and they keep me in the west coast loop. Two other Mulberries won awards for their portfolios: Annelouise Mahoney and Joy Dabby! Woot Woot!
